The HVAC Shop provides installation, maintenance and repairs to all heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems on the OUHSC campus. The shop has 15 skilled apprentices, journeymen and contractors to keep the campus operating at comfortable and efficient levels.  The HVAC Shop employees are extensively trained and licensed through the State of Oklahoma Construction Industries Board.  To qualify to be a Mechanical Journeyman, an individual must be able to provide proof of required experience, pass a comprehensive exam, and meet continuing education requirements.  

Services Provided

• Respond to hot/cold calls
• Preventive Maintenance on all HVAC Systems
• Inspect and Certify fume hoods
• Exhaust fans
• Provide maintenance to boilers and chillers 
• Maintain Walk-in coolers

Hours of Operation:

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM , Monday through Friday
Excludes all University recognized holidays
